Description
SUGGESTED USE: Before, during and after care: Apply a thin layer on the skin, where friction or irritation is indicated. It is best used externally and locally on areas experiencing friction or damage, such as where sit bones meet a bicycle saddle, on runner’s nipples before a marathon, on heels/toes or thighs to prevent everyday discomfort or even over a freshly inked tattoo (with bandage at the advise of your local tattoo artist).
One skin application should last for a couple of hours unless it is especially humid, although it may absorb more quickly if skin is already distressed. There’s no tingly sensation with this, as properties in menthol or peppermint can cause a burning sensation and further skin irritation. The texture is a bit firm upon first touch and has some give for scooping a small amount by hand. It melts quickly for smooth application of a thin, breathable layer, and is best kept stored 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit. If it becomes liquified in its container, one can chill it for a couple hours to return it to its semi-solid state.
